Don Bourke came to Adelaide to film for Bourke's Backyard when he did an animal road test on the Palomino horses. Alison found a large acreage which would suit as it had panoramic views. She organised hospitality to the people of the Palomino Association SA and the camera crew which included a vast area to park, keep the horses safe, tea, coffee and lunch as it was nearly an all day event. Alison also instigated and helped in the preparation to get Don Bourke to SA to interview everyone.
